Michael-

Here is a trick to putting on waterbed sheets based on over thirty years of experience. The most common mistake that many folks make is pulling their hand straight up from the corner of the waterbed after securing the sheet pocket. This error almost always pulls the sheet out of place.

If, after securing the sheet pocket with the corner of the waterbed mattress, you "sneak" your hand down the side of the mattress as you are pulling your hand out, your sheets will remain tight and in place. Rarely will they come off until you want to remove your sheets for laundering when you use this method.

I'm especially intrigued by your comment of "water being cold in the winter". Don't you use a waterbed heater? That is half of the benefit of having a waterbed!

If I can help you or any waterbed folks answer questions about waterbeds, please don't hesitate to email me at support@AwesomeWaterbeds.com. I hope that I've helped.

My waterbed sheets just will not stay on. They come off every single night. This is especially frustrating in the winter when the water is cold. They don't have the poles, but the flat sheet is connected to the fitted sheet and they were sold as waterbed sheets.
